Quran Cordoba together with UNINUS and Nalinga Sabumi Educational Foundation successfully broke the MURI Record in writing the 30 juz Al-Qur'an using the Follow The Line method! This event involved thousands of participants with the support of the West Java Education Office. Cordoba is always committed to the Qur'anic movement, especially those that inspire the younger generation. In fact, this event was covered by TVRI and Pikiran Rakyat.
Bandung, March 7, 2025 - The commitment in driving the da'wah and inspiration of the Qur'an continues to be realized by Quran Cordoba. This time, the leading Mushaf publisher once again showed its role in the history of Islamic education in Indonesia by collaborating with Universitas Islam Nusantara (UNINUS) Bandung and Yayasan Edukasi Nalinga Sabumi in the MURI Record Breaking Event of 30 Juz Al-Qur'an Mushaf Writing using Follow The Line method.
The activity organized by UNINUS with the full support of Quran Cordoba was attended by 84,420 participants from 139 SMK, SMA, and SLB schools under 11 Education Branch Offices (KCD) throughout West Java.
This event involved UNINUS students offline, as well as online for thousands of high school, vocational and special education students throughout West Java in a series of Smart Tren Ramadhan 1446 H organized by the West Java Education Office. Not only a record-breaking event, this activity is also a momentum to build a younger generation that is closer to the Qur'an.
Held at the 3rd Floor Hall of UNINUS SPS Building, the event was attended by various important figures, including Prof. Dr. Endang Komara, M.Si (Rector of UNINUS), Ust. Usman El-Qurtuby (President Director of Quran Cordoba), H. Erwin, SE, M.Pd (Deputy Mayor of Bandung), Dra. Eulis Hendrayani, S. M.Pd (Chairperson of Yayasan Edukasi Nalinga Sabumi), and the Head of the West Java Education Office.
Deputy Mayor of Bandung H. Erwin, S.E., M.Pd., in his remarks as well as opening the MURI record-breaking event for writing the 30 Juz Al-Qur'an, said that the Qur'an is a holy book that must be studied forever both in writing and reading. Allah has made it easy for us to learn it and in the month of Ramadan which coincides with the revelation of the Qur'an as a guide for all mankind to distinguish between true and false.
As a mushaf publisher whose mission is to build superior individuals who love the Qur'an, Quran Cordoba is always present in various Qur'anic proselytization movements in Indonesia. Not only giving full support to this event, Cordoba also provided the complete 30 juz mushaf writing media used by the participants to write the holy verses.
"Cordoba takes part and supports agendas that bring Muslims closer to the Qur'an, we are committed to supporting civil society according to the values of the Quran. Cordoba's support for the writing movement is not the first. Previously, it has successfully held various similar activities, especially in the city of Bandung and outside the province of West Java. Previously, a MURI record was broken in Bandung Regency at the Bale Rame Dome building in 2024, an extraordinary achievement involving more than 38,000 participants in a mushaf writing event in Indonesia with writing media from the Cordoba Quran.

The Follow The Line method used in writing this mushaf is a special attraction. This technique is effective because it makes it easier for participants to write the holy verses accurately, hone accuracy, concentration and foster a love for the Qur'an.
The follow the line method is a creative innovation to learn the Qur'an in an active and creative age that helps in beautiful writing.
With the Mushaf presented from Cordoba, participants wrote the Holy Qur'an together, with the hope that this activity will bring benefits and further foster a love for the Qur'an.
UNINUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Endang Komara, M.Si, emphasized that this activity is in line with the Tridharma of Higher Education-education, research, and community service. "That a total of 84,420 participants, there are also students from undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs from UNINUS" "This is the largest record, the scope is wide because it involves 139 schools in West Java." he said openly.
The huge impact of this event attracted the attention of West Java and national media. The event received special coverage from TVRI and Pikiran Rakyat, which helped spread the spirit and inspiration of the Quran writing movement to the wider community through various media and digital channels.
Moreover, Bandung City is where Quran Cordoba is based and has collaborated with the Bandung City Government in the same program before, now Bandung has a MAIN vision and mission with the tagline superior, open, trustworthy, advanced, and religious.
Even the Deputy Mayor of Bandung, said in his speech, "This event really produces a pious and righteous generation because it involves writing Mushaf Al-Qur'an. We know that the Qur'an is both guidance and medicine. If someone can write the Qur'an, God willing, he will be successful in this world and the hereafter."
Hopefully, the Bandung City Government and Quran Cordoba will work together again on the same movement agenda. God willing.

With this MURI record-breaking success, Quran Cordoba hopes that more and more educational institutions will adopt innovative methods in learning to write the Qur'an. This is not just a record-breaking event, but a big step towards creating a society that is more characterized, civilized, knowledgeable, and moral according to Qur'anic values.
Quran Cordoba will continue to contribute to the Qur'anic movement, ensuring that every individual, especially the younger generation, has easy and fun access to learn and love their holy book.
